York River State Park 5K Race
5K Race is usually held the last Saturday in August, with the event beginning early in the morning, and ending shortly before noon.
York River State Park co-manages this race in conjunction with the SpiritWorks foundation. Support comes from the Colonial Road Runners.
The Top 12 Runners receive special prizes, such as cabin stays at our other state parks, as well as annual park passes!
100 birdhouses are also awarded to the top runner-ups.
T-Shirts for this event are available for runners. (Pre-registered members are usually GUARENTEED a T-Shirt)
